The issuer is the party that pays the bond principal and interest through VSDC. After receiving money from the Issuer, VSDC will distribute the money to depository members. After receiving money from VSDC, NVS will distribute money to bondholders according to the correct ownership ratio.

Bond principal and interest will be transferred to the customer’s securities account opened at NVS.

To become a Professional Investor, Customers need to meet the conditions prescribed by the Securities Law 2019, Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020 and Decree No. 65/2022/ ND-CP dated September 16, 2022. Specifically:

A professional securities investor is an investor with financial capacity or expertise in securities including:

a) Commercial banks, foreign bank branches, financial companies, insurance business organizations, securities companies, securities investment fund management companies, securities investment companies, investment funds Securities investors, international financial institutions, off-budget state financial funds, and state financial institutions may purchase securities in accordance with relevant laws;

b) Companies with contributed charter capital of over 100 billion VND or listed organizations or organizations registered for trading;

c) People with securities practice certificates;

d) Individuals holding a portfolio of listed securities, registered for trading with a minimum value of 02 billion VND determined by the average daily market value of the securities portfolio for a minimum period of 180 days immediately before the date of determining the status of a professional securities investor, excluding the value of loans for margin transactions and the value of securities for resale transactions. The determination of a professional securities investor at this point is valid for 3 months from the date of confirmation;

d) The individual has a taxable income in the most recent year of at least 01 billion VND by the time that individual is determined as a professional securities investor according to the tax declaration submitted to the tax authority or Tax deduction voucher of the paying organization or individual.

Customers who own bonds and want to deposit them on VSD through NVS need to have a securities trading account opened at NVS, and must go to NVS headquarters to complete the procedures. Documents customers need to bring include:

– Certificate of bond ownership: original

– ID card/CCCD: original

  • To be able to trade bonds at NVS, customers need to have a securities trading account opened at NVS and register for bond trading.
  • Customers who do not have a securities trading account opened at NVS can refer to the instructions for opening an account HERE. Customer accounts can trade TPRL after 01 day from the date of acceptance by VSDC, or according to regulations from time to time by the management agency.
  •  Customers who already have a securities trading account opened at NVS, please contact the Operations Department staff for assistance in placing bond trading orders.
  • Customers wishing to buy bonds must qualify as professional securities investors at the time of purchase according to the provisions of law.
